Mimi Frusha is the COO of Higg, where she oversees financials, capital raises, and overall company operations.
Before Higg, Mimi was the COO and founding member of Renewable Financial, and then the EVP of Corporate Strategy and Financial Operations, where their goal was to reduce the environmental impact of homes. While there for ten years, she led expansion and product development for new markets in clean energy, handled large scale securitizations, and grew the team by 10x in 3 years.
Before that, she was in the nonprofit sector where she developed programs that helped both business and families improve their financial stability for positive impact on their communities and the environment. She led these programs at Inner City Advisors, Juma Ventures, and the East Bay Asian Development Corporation, all based in the SF/Bay Area.
Her career has long focused on social and environmental impact, and she’s happy to use her expertise to solve a global problem like Higg’s, in a quick, lean startup environment.
Mimi graduated Cum Laude from Carleton College with a BA in Latin American Studies, and received her MBA from University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
